  • In school, I had been daydreaming a short fanfic or something for you, since we don't get to see each other a lot, sorry if this fanfic is too awkward for you ^^;

A Cybernik was rapping her knuckles on the desk. She pushed back a loose string of hair as she was writing down on documents. By now, she was 24, and she hadn't had the chance to see her sweetheart, thanks to her damn studies. She put the pen down and cupped her head in her hands, elbows atop the table, leaning out the chair. She stared aimlessly in grief.

There was a sound of rustling in the other room, and she needed a distraction anyway. She rised out of her chair and paced out the door, her metallic feet making electric puffing noises. She walked around the corner of the living room and peered into the room the noise was coming from.

In that room was a five year-old human boy, with messy jet-black hair. He sat cross-legged in his red pajamas, bashing a toy tractor against a plank of wood. She realised he was trying to make an iron pickaxe, since she saw a bent ingot of iron on floor beside him. The moment she entered, the little boy stopped his handiwork construction and grinned mischievously at her.

She gazed at him proudly. "You remind me of your dad," she said. "I promise we'll see him again."

Jonah walked across the endless plains. It had been 12 years since that day, and he couldn't forget the sheer horror he had witnessed. His mother was kidnapped by dangerous people right before his eyes, and what he had left of her was her left arm, the metallic weaponry arm.

"Let him go!" she cried, her voice echoing. "Don't you dare touch him!" The men chuckled as she pleaded, one of them dangling a young Jonah by the neckline of shirt. These men had driven to their house, and while they were threatening Surprise, Jonah came along, making him a prime bait for blackmail.

She started to glare. Those men would rather take it the hard way. Her arm assembled itself to become a plasma claw, and she was ready to use it on those cretins. The moment she thrust it at the first man nearby, he grabbed her forearm, and her eyes widened. He had a sadistic look on his face. The next second there was the sound of a metal scratching, and her cries of pain.

Half a second later, her left arm twisted clean off, wires ripped and sparking. She fell to the ground, breathing quickly with tears in her eyes. It must have stung painfully. Jonah was alarmed as he felt himself hit the ground, knocking his breath out. His vision was black pulsing for a few seconds, them he turned and saw what happened.

The men were dragging his unconcious mother to their car trunk, tossing her in like a sack of meat and slamming it closed. Jonah was up on his feet, but the car sped off, leaving a cloud of dust in his face.

He had been searching for her ever since, and he was conveniently raised by hyenas. He wore a backpack which had her arm in it, and a gun, armed with a magazine of tranquilizer darts, and one cartridge of a poison dart. He had finally reached a warehouse, where he saw the very same car that had been used to take her away. He was hoping this was the right place.

There was a warning sign on the door, but he ignored it and let himself in. He saw unfamiliar men working with machines, bathed in soot. There was one man though, who looked familiar. Had he partook in her abduction? Jonah took reluctant strides towards him. "Excuse me, mister," Jonah began. The man turned to face him, and he had a striking resembelance to one of the men he saw years ago.

"How can I help you sonny-" the man stopped short, after studying Jonah for a while. Jonah continued, in spite of the man's reaction. "Do you happen to know where I can find a female cyborg?" The man suddenly dropped his shocked posture and suddenly adopted a friendly one. "Oh yes of course, come right this way..." he said, the last words getting darker in tone.

He led Jonah through passageways, not realizing Jonah was readying his dart gun. They finally reached a room devoid of other people. He looked at him menacingly. "I can remember you, and don't you dare think you can have mommy back," he spat. Before the man could do anything else, Jonah lunged at him, cornering him at a wall.

The man gasped as he saw Jonah pull out a gun and aim it at point blank. "Tell me where she is. Now!" he said in an icy, quiet voice. "You're gonna get away with murder," the man teased, trying to ease Jonah out of his hostile demeanor. Jonah narrowed his eyes, and the man started spluttering. "She's here! She's here! She's in the room down the hallway- put your gun away!"

Jonah grinned. "Thanks, that's all I needed to hear." He pulled at the trigger, and the man expected an ear-shattering bang, but instead saw a tranquilizer dart on his knee. "You son of a-" he muttered, and slumped on his stomach, slipping into slumber.

Jonah got out of the room, and the next thing he knew, men were surrounding him, pointing guns at him. He raised both arms and dropped the dart gun in shock. "Good boy," hissed a man. "Now we are going to you lead you out, and you won't ever come back." They prodded his back with their guns, forcing him through the hallways.

It was when a random hyena decided to show up, breaking most of their machinery. The men forgot that Jonah was here, and chased after the hyena, it laughing at them. Jonah gave a quick salute and ran back down the hallways. "We're losing him!" the man yelled, and they all ignored the hyena and ran down the hallway. Their guns spat bullets like watermelon seeds, as he reached the last door.

He immediately raised his gun once he was inside the room, and he saw a bed. There, on that bed, was his mother, sleeping away, with wires and an oxygen mask attached to her. She looked like she suffered a lot, as if they had been trying experiments on her. He didn't have enough darts to take out all of the men, so when they barged in, he started shooting at every man a tranquilizer dart. It was a chaos- bullets were raining in this room.

There were a few men left, and they sent a bullet right at Jonah, just as he was about to fire the poison dart. He accidentally tripped over so he felt the bullet whizz a millimeter above his face, and he fired the poison dart at the ceiling. He was knocked unconcious by one of the men slamming their gun against his head, and the last thing he heard was a soft voice, saying "Jonah...?"

He woke up to find the men unconscious, and a gloved hand stroking his hair gently. "It's all over..." his mother said soothingly. She must have taken out the last few men. He hugged her, not wanting to let go. He saw her arm was messily attached. "You fixed your arm," he smiled. She was stroking his back.

"Come on, let's get out of here," he suggested. "Jonah... I want you to go see your father for me," his mother said. Jonah was confused. He was searching for her all this time, and she tells him to go alone? "Mom, we could just see him together," he chuckled nervously. "Please Jonah!" she begged. Was she mad?

"I don't know what those men have done to you," he said standing up. "But I want you to come back, with me!" She smiled, with tears in her eyes. "Jonah... Liam X..." she said, and crashed into the floor. "Mom?!" Jonah blurted, rushing to her side. He tried to stand her up, but she wouldn't cooperate and remained sagging. "Mom!"

He shook her, but she would wake up. Jonah looked at her and his face went white. His heart ached and sank all the way down, and he felt shock building up in his throat. His eyes got watery and he started crying. There was the poison dart, lodged in her shoulder.
